Southern California legends Ed Pink and Ed Iskenderian will be honored as Hot Rod Heroes at the Goodguys 12th Meguiar's Del Mar Nationals, March 30-April 1, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Both men bring decades of rich hot-rodding and motorsports heritage to the festivities. Pink, who was one of the world's premier engine builders in all racing platforms, will have a booth on the midway showcasing Ed Pink Racing Engines and his red 1929 Ford Hiboy roadster, his “Old Master” Top Fuel dragster and other Pink-powered hot rods.

The next Volvo XC90 SUV will arrive in 2014 with loaded with world-first safety technology to take on the Audi Q7 and Land Rover Discovery. The safety arsenal will include after-dark pedestrian detection, road barrier detection, as well as fully autonomous cruise control and parking capability. Porsche stopped production today at its assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany, after floods in the region disrupted supplies. The factory builds the Cayenne SUV and Panamera sedan for global markets, including the United States. Porsche told workers on today's early shift not to come into work after floods in the Czech Republic halted supply of Cayenne bodies.
