Webasto heater repair service, US $5.00, image 1

Offering my services as a factory trained Webasto heater repair technician. I am very easy going and am willing to work with you on getting your Webasto heater repaired correctly and economically.

You must provide your heater model information to me. If you provide a detailed description on the heater operation and problems you are experiencing, I can often times provide a quote for repair immediately.

You must ship the heater to me. I will inspect and provide a quote for repairs, including parts and labor. I use Webasto factory diagnostic repair tools. Upon agreement, I will acquire genuine repair parts for your heater (if I dont have them on hand already), make necessary repairs, and bench test for an extended period of time to verify correct operation and provide electronic diagnostic reports for the heater for your records (electronic reports not available on DBW/DW series heaters). Videos of operation will be available if requested. I will ship the heater back to you, once paid in full. I warranty my repairs for 1 year. I have deep ties with the Webasto distributor and am able to aquire genuine Webasto parts at excellent prices. You are welcome to supply the repair parts as well. Customer supplied parts are not warrantied. Aftermarket parts are OK with me as long as they are the correct part.

I am very easy going and I am willing to work with you!

I also have good used and rebuilt webasto heaters on hand, let me know what you are looking for if interested.

Five reasons to celebrate the end of the paper UK driving licence

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

From January 2015 Britain’s much-derided paper counterpart driving licence is being phased out. This is A Good Thing, ending an annoying bi-partite arrangement that’s blighted drivers’ pockets for 16 years. Driving licences have been with us since 1903, when they were first mandated – but the current, annoyingly two-part licences have been in use since 1998, with a bank card-sized photocard accompanied by a printed sheet of A4.

Show Preview: Frankfurt motor show 2011

Tue, 23 Aug 2011

The biannual Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, or the Frankfurt motor show, is again due to take place this September, swapping places with its sister show in Paris. One of the world's largest motor shows – certainly physically – the IAA is held at Frankfurt's Messe complex, and in recent years has been themed, with the last event in 2009 carrying the theme of ‘electrification', with virtually every manufacturer revealing a vehicle using the latest battery technology. Fittingly, the most notable unveil at that show was the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept, which was easily the most innovative and original car of 2009.
