Up for auction is a stock replacement Weber carburetor for 1600 air cooled Beetle, Karmann Ghia, etc. Carb is used but has very few miles on it. It is in good shape but needs cleaning and adjustment. Carb was purchased about 1982 and placed on a 1969 1600 Beetle but car was only driven a few hundred miles. Please look the photos over carefully and ask any relevant questions before bidding. Bentley W12 (and Audi and VW) engine production centres on Crewe

The VW Group W12 engine will now only be made by Bentley in Crewe It’s probably not something you’ve paused to think about much, but if you did you’d assume that the Bentley W12 engine – fitted to the Flying Spur and Continental GT as well as the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton – was made only in Crewe. But you’d be wrong. In fact, the W12 for Bentleys are made in Crewe but those used in the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton are actually built by VW at their engine plant in Salzgitter.

Hyundai issues recalls for faulty brake switch, loose bracket

Hyundai is recalling 186,254 Elantra vehicles from model years 2011-2013 to replace a support bracket on the headliner. Hyundai says the bracket can be dislodged during a side-curtain-airbag deployment and could injure the driver. In a crash in May, an occupant’s ear was cut when the driver’s side curtain airbag deployed.
