This sale is for a used Weber Lynx intake manifold.  Please read this entire description very carefully, as some things are guaranteed and some are not.

Some years ago I purchased this, along with an attached set of 40 DCOE's and some other items, from a local auto enthusiast.  I was told that the manifold/DCOE setup was from a Datsun project, that the carbs were working, but needed rebuilding.  At the time, I wanted the DCOE's and other items for the Triumph Spitfires I had.  I'm not familiar with the Datsun engines and don't remember what engine this was from.  In poking about briefly on eBay, I don't find a Datsun intake manifold with a bolt/runner configuration like this.  I don't know for sure that this even fits a Datsun.  It's even possible I was told that this was going to be for a Datsun, not from a Datsun.

This is in as-found, uncleaned condition.  The casting looks to be very good, with no cracks, distortions, or signs of abuse.  It has had a central relief area cut into it (see photo with my finger pointing at area), but it's in a beefy area, so there's no concern that it's affected the structural integrity.  The runners show marks where it looks like they've been smoothed and/or worked over.  The engine-side ports show evidence of port-matching.

The studs look like what they are, old used studs.  They may or may not need to be cleaned, rethreaded, or replaced.

The five head-side stud holes are somewhat linear and form a shallow V.  If you number the studs 1-5, studs 1/2 and 4/5 look to be 88mm apart.  Studs 2/3 and 3/4 are 96.5mm apart.

When I measure the horizontal distance between the vertical carb side and vertical engine side, it looks to be about 105mm.  Since the runners are actually at an angle, the runner length will be a bit longer than this, and looks to be roughly 115mm.

I am GUARANTEEING that the manifold casting is solid, unbroken, and usable.

I am NOT GUARANTEEING that:
a) this is for a Datsun
b) the studs are good

The DCOE's that were on this are listed in a seperate auction.

My General Policies: I want both you and I to have a good experience buying and selling on Ebay.  Bad auction experiences are no good for anybody.  I've found that timely and polite communication are key components in a successful transaction.  Please don't assume that I've acted with bad intentions if the product you receive is not as I described it or you've expected it.  I get my products from all over and at times I'm not very knowledgable about a particular item.  I may unintentionally misdescribe an item but will be happy to work with you to resolve the issue.  Resolving issues can be easy and straightforward, especially if you are courteous in your communications with me.
Payment or payment-related communication is expected within 3 days.
Local pickup is encouraged, I'm located in St Petersburg, Florida, about 15 minutes off I-275.
Shipping:  I am generally specific about the USPS service and cost. If you need or expect something else you'll need to let me know before the auction ends.
Combined shipping discounts:  I'm happy to offer combined shipping discounts when I can.  If one or more item is heavy and the quoted rate is for a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, I can't guarantee that there will be a savings by combining shipping.  If this might be an issue, inquire before bidding.
Returns & guarantees:  Assuming the item is properly described, than all items are sold as-is, with no guarantees, no satisfaction-guaranteed-or-your-money-back, and no-returns-accepted, except as follows.  If the above item description indicates that the item is "new" and/or guaranteed to work, then you will have 14 days after I've mailed the item to evaluate it and contact me if it doesn't work for return authorization.  If the description does not specifically say that the item is guaranteed, then it's not.  If the item is not properly described, for instance it has a significant undescribed/overlooked flaw, then I would consider that covered by my return/guarantee policy.  If the item is specifically sold "as-is" and I indicate that I'm not familiar with the item or unable to test it, then you need to consider that it might be complete junk, unusable, and unreturnable, and bid accordingly.  If the item is authorized for return you'll have a week, unless otherwise arranged, to get it back into the mail to return to me if you want a refund.
Feedback:  I provide feedback for buyers AFTER I've received feedback from the buyer.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: None.

Volvo Concept Coupe (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The Swedes have done emotional coupes before – like the C70 and the legendary P1800 – but the Volvo Concept Coupe is the first from its new designer, Thomas Ingenlath. Recruited from VW, Ingenlath says that the concept, which is underpinned by the new SPA platform (which stands for Scalable Platform Architecture) that will be used on the 2014 XC90, is both a nod to the past and a signal of intent for the future. You’ll be able to see it at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
