Wells JA1811 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Item Description
Features Wells Vehicle Electronics' Blower Motor Resistors are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturers' specifications for performance and durability. The HVAC Blower Motor Resistor, also known as a BMR, controls the speed of vehicle's blower motor. A malfunctioning or inoperative Blower Motor Resistor will cause a poor cabin cooling or heating condition. It can also cause insufficient windshield defrosting or de-icing, reducing driver visibility. When replacing a failed Blower Motor Resistor, other HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system components should be verified for functionality as they can cause the Blower Motor Resistor to fail. The blower motor should be checked for amperage draw per the manufacturer's specification and cabin air filters, if equipped, should be replaced. Additional Information

Infiniti Q50 Revealed: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Mon, 14 Jan 2013The new Infiniti Q50 – replacing the G37 and the first of Infiniti’s ‘Q’ badged cars – has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The Q50 is still unmistakably an Infiniti – but a better looking one – with the trademark curves and grill still intact but with a bit of added oomph from a new look inspired by the Infiniti LE Concept we saw in New York last spring. The Infiniti Q50 is both longer and wider than the old G37 – lower too – and a lot slippier, with a drag coefficient of just 0.26 thanks to the sleeker bodywork and lower stance.
Jaguar: Four-wheel drive a priority. Hybrid Jaguars not.
Sun, 20 Nov 2011Our long term Jaguar XJ would have been better in the snow with 4WD - but it's coming We’ve been talking about a four-wheel drive platform for Jaguars for a long time now. As far back as 2009, Jaguar privately confessed that the lack of an XF Estate was down to the lack of a 4WD platform to make the XF Estate a proper competitor in the luxury load-lugging market. And although we thought Jaguar could still make a success of the XF Estate without a 4WD option, we understood their perspective; Jaguar didn’t want to be the poor relation in the luxury estate market.
Frankfurt 2011: New Vauxhall Astra GTC (2012) debut
Thu, 15 Sep 2011Vauxhall Astra GTC finally arrives at Frankfurt The Vauxhall Astra GTC (and its European equivalent Opel GTC) finally gets to go on public view at Frankfurt this week, a year after it arrived as a concept at Paris. Based on the more prosaic five-door Astra, the GTC carries over just about nothing except the door handles although it still conspires to look like a slightly squashed, butch version of its sibling. The Astra GTC is a decent looking effort from Vauxhall – as is the regular Astra – designed to take the fight to cars like the Scirroco.
