  Received as a gift by a sailor after he commited to sell his boat, this West Marine ANTIGUA BRASS SHIP'S BAROMETER remains in GORGEOUS, UNUSED CONDITION, still having the original packing case and instructions- There are numerous photos showing its details and condition.

  MASSIVE forged and machined brass case, beautifully polisshed and lacquered for long marine use. Thick bevelled glass. Reads in both inches and millibars.  Measures 5 1/4" inches across the back and will project about 3 1/8" from the wall or bulkhead.

  Would look great with an array of Chelsea or Seth Thomas ships instruments. Comes with the instructions and mounting screwsl

The 2013 SEAT Leon has been officially revealed a few days after leaked photos surfaced. Will launch at the Paris Motor Show. Photos of the new SEAT Leon turned up on Saturday showing SEAT’s new take on the VW Golf ahead of an official reveal, so it seemed likely we’d get the official details soon.

Lexus teases Frankfurt SUV concept (2013)

Lexus has released the first picture of what’s expected to be its new SUV concept car, bound for the Frankfurt motor show in September 2013. Clearly set to employ the sharp-creased design and huge ‘spindle grille’ cues from the current Lexus range – not to mention the LF-LC coupe concept – Lexus is nevertheless staying tight-lipped on details of its new model. We’ll see the car revealed completely in early September.

Seat celebrates 60 years of production

SPANISH car maker Seat has this week celebrated its 60th anniversary, releasing pictures dating back to its very first model, the 1400. Six decades have now passed since the first 1400 rolled off the production line, when the brand new company was inundated with 10,000 orders following the end of petrol rationing in Spain. With so much production demand Seat was able to drop the initial price of 121,875 to a more reasonable 117,000 pesetas, or what would have been about £590 at the time.
