West Marine Vhf-250 Multiband Vhf, Am/fm, Air, Frs Excellent Condition on 2040-parts.com
Winter Haven, Florida, US
You are looking at a RARE West Marine (manufactured by Uniden but can't be found anymore) VHF-250
This radio receives AM, FM, VHF, AM Air-band, FRS
This radio transmits AND receives VHF, and FRS (Family Radio Service)
This thing is great for listening to air traffic and also works great for weather. It communicates very well at 5-watts on the marine VHF frequencies. I've never used it for the FRS band (these are the yuppies with fanny-packs at Disney that have the walkie talkies their wives make them carry). It does work though and actually looks cooler than the pink or yellow plastic walkie talkies said whipped yup-husbands have to carry.
It comes with the following:
- Radio
- spare battery pack (can be loaded with alkaline AAA's)
- Charge-dock
- Original Manual
- Wrist Strap & Belt clip
- 12v DC charge cord (2)
It is missing the following:
- Original Box
- 110v AC/DC converter (any 12v output converter will work to power the dock though)
OH YEAH, NO RESERVE so Happy Bidding, Thanks for looking

Sun, 29 Jun 2014The Mercedes E300 Hybrid – Africa to Goodwood on a tank of fuel It might cost more to buy a hybrid car than a regular ICE car, but if you do a lot of miles the fuel savings can be impressive and, with many modern cars, you can choose to use the extra electric motor for more performance when parsimony isn’t at the top of your agenda. A good example of a car that offers plenty of luxuries, decent performance and the ability to eke out a gallon of fuel further than you’d ever have thought possible is the latest Mercedes E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID. With a 201 bhp diesel engine and a 27 bhp electric motor, the Mercedes hybrid can get to 62 mph in 7.5 seconds, reach 155 mph and offers leather trim, COMAND, Climate and all the little luxuries that make time behind the wheel more bearable.
