Lamborghini Jota spied testing
Fri, 15 Jan 2010The Lamborghini Jota caught cold weather testing (via WCF - copyright CarPix) The Murcielago range of Lamborghinis is coming to the end of their shelf life and we have in store the replacement – The Lamborghini Jota - which will be with us in the next year or so. So it’s not a big surprise that Lamborghini have been out testing the new Jota in the Arctic Circle. As we can see from the spy shots, the Jota is going to be similar in size to the Murcielago (which is far too wide for comfort around town) but thanks to a new aluminium space frame will be an awful lot lighter than the Murcielago.
CDN-Interior Motives China Conference 2014 – Day 2
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Chris Bangle gave those contemplating a lie-in after the first day of the CDN-Interior Motives conference the incentive to grab a front-row seat for his opening keynote. Thought-provoking, clear and inspirational as ever, we will cover Bangle's 'State of the Union: Time for Deep Car Design?' presentation in a separate feature. There's simply too much to cover in detail to include here.
Alfa Romeo going to the USA
Fri, 26 Jun 2009Alfa Romeo is going back to the US for the first time in almost 20 years We already know that the only Fiat making its way to the US is the Fiat 500, but it now looks as if a big chunk of the Alfa Romeo range will make the journey too. Sergio Marchionne, Fiat’s boss and the new head of Chrysler, has been working on rationalising Chrysler’s management and working out the best way forward. As mentioned, only the Fiat 500 will be offered for sale in America (and probably built in Mexico), with Fiat platforms being used to build new Chryslers that will be designed and built in the States.
