THIS SNOW PLOW MOUNT IS USED AND CAME OFF A 1994 FULL-SIZE FORD BRONCO. THE MOUNT WAS WIRE WHEELED/BRUSHED, CLEANED UP, AND PAINTED WITH RUSTOLEUM BRAND PAINT. THIS PLOW FRAME IS SOLID AND HAS NO BROKEN OR REPAIRED WELDS. THERE WAS SOME AREAS OF FAIRLY HEAVY RUST PITTING THAT WAS REMOVED BEFORE PAINTING. THIS MOUNT COMES WITH NO HARDWARE EXCEPT AS SHOWN, SO PLEASE PLAN ON A NEW COMPLETE HARDWARE SET. BECAUSE THE ITEM IS USED, IT IS BEING SOLD IN (AS-IS) CONDITION.

Dr Wolfgang Durheimer starts his new job today; previously Porsche’s R&D chief, Dr Durheimer takes up his post as boss of Bentley and Bugatti on 1 February 2011. Just before he left Porsche, CAR caught up with Dr Durheimer to discover the future he’s leaving behind at the German sports car manufacturer. Dr Durheimer begain his career in the auto industry in 1986, working for BMW as a product manager, product development boss for the Motorrad division, and then as R&D boss.

Post-World War II Japanese tin toys on display in New York

During the rebuilding of Japan after World War II, a Japanese toy designer took a discarded tin can and molded it into an intricate model car. Just inches in length, it created a phenomenon in the 1940s and '50s in Japan called “buriki.” Buriki is derived from “blik,” which is Dutch for "tin toy." A collection of 70 tin-toy vehicles manufactured in Japan is currently on display at New York's Japan Society Gallery. The exhibit, called “Buriki: Japanese Tin Toys from the Golden Age of the American Automobile, The Yoku Tanaka Collection,” runs until Aug.

The abbreviated run of the track-oriented Ford Mustang Boss 302 was by design, says Ford Motor Co. COO Mark Fields. Speaking April 6 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, Fla., Fields told Speed TV the two-year availability helps protect the Mustang's value for collectors.
