Wheel Adapters
These are the wheel adaptors you need for your VW Bug / Sand Rail / Dune Buggy or any other custom application. These wheel adapters work when you have a VW 4 bolt hub (4 on 130mm) adapted to a 5 bolt chevy wheel (5 on 4 ¾ inch, 7/16 x 20 thread) bolt pattern wheel. STUDS ARE INCLUDED. The one strange looking 2 sided stud in the picture threads into the VW hub and the other end slides through the adapter as the 5th bolt on the Chevy bolt pattern. There are also 3 additional bolts that fasten the adapter to the 4 hole VW hub (those bolts are not shown in photo)
They fit 1968 through 1979 air cooled VWs with a 4 bolt pattern as descibed above. This includes bugs, convertibles, dune buggies, trikes, ghias, squarebacks, slopebacks and things. They do not fit the TYPE 2 vans.
