Hyundai will take your car back if you lose your job – but only in the U.S
Sun, 04 Jan 2009As car makers get more desperate to make sales, they are coming up with more and more to tempt the wary. Free financing, extended warranties and servicing and, in a couple of extreme examples, 2 for 1 offers. But Hyundai has come up with another offer to tempt the reluctant.
Scrappage: US to get Cash for Clunkers
Wed, 10 Jun 2009The US is to get their own Scrappage Scheme - Cash for Clunkers So even though our Scrappage Scheme is pretty flawed, it may well be having an impact – at least until the relatively modest amount set-aside for the scheme by the Government is exhausted. Porsche Macan will sell 75,000 a year
Tue, 11 Sep 2012The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s more compact SUV, based on the Audi Q5 – looks set to sell at a rate of 75,000 cars a year. The new Porsche Macan - the Porsche Cajun as was - already looked set to take Porsche sales to another level with projected sales of 45,000 a year from 2013, but it looks like that ambitious target is going to be exceeded. German weekly WirtschaftsWoche is reporting that Porsche’s procurement boss, Uwe-Karsten Staedter, has put Porsche suppliers on notice that they are expecting to sell 75,000 Macans a year by the end of 2013 – an increase of 2/3rds on the original sales predictions.
