2013 Peugeot RCZ facelift priced from £21,595Tue, 20 Nov 2012The facelift for the Peugeot RCZ – revealed at the Paris Motor Show – will cost from £21,595 when it arrives in January 2013. The main change for the RCZ is the loss of the old ‘big gob’ Peugeot nose, to be replaced by a much more appealing front that fits in with the rest of Peugeot’s current crop of cars, complete with LED running lights, new grill and headlights and a bigger air intake with chrome bars. As well as the more obvious changes to the exterior, the RCZ gets some minor interior tweaks, with the Sport spec getting auto lights and option of half leather and leather/Alcantara. The GT spec RCZ gets a few more changes including 19″‘Technical’ alloys, interior sports kit, new interior colours, the option of matt black roof arches, new body transfer decals and more alloy choices. 2013 Volkswagen Passat R-Line & new 1.4 TSI arriveMon, 13 May 2013The Volkswagen range is hugely successful and largely appealing, but it’s not always the most dynamic looking range of cars on offer. Which is why the R-Line option of fairly understated sporty add-ons is so popular and why VW is offering it on more and more of its range. Now we get the VW Passat R-Line treatment (just as we did with the old Passat) with a bespoke body kit offering more butch bumpers front and back – and cornering fogs in the front bumper – side skirts, 18″ Kansas alloys, spoiler at the back, lowered suspension, extra chrome, Bi-xenon headlights with LED running lights and privacy glass to give the Passat a much more appealing look. Car April Fool Stuff: From Chips Away to BMWTue, 01 Apr 2014Chips Away’s new APP removes dents in cars The car news on April 1st always includes a chunk of April Fools, and this year is no different with some good, some bad and some quite lame. The people that take the everyday knocks out of your car at home – Chips Away – have come up with a DentsAway App – in conjunction with ALA – that will uses a Smartphone’s electro-magnetic pulses to ionise the metal on a car dent and pull it back in to shape. Chips Away and ALA have used their April 1st announcement as the chance for a giveway, with three winners getting a pair of tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year if they share the video (below) on Facebook or Twitter. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
