Wed, 20 May 2009Vauxhall has revealed the Vauxhall Insignia VXR Sports Tourer to go on sale later this year So the Vauxhall Insignia VXR Sports Tourer joins the saloon and hatchback to make a full set of hot Insignias. The VXR Sports Tourer gets the same engine as its siblings, namely a 2.8 litre V6 twin-turbo with 325bhp, 4WD and a six speed gearbox. It sports the big air intakes at the the front and the same aggressive body styling as the other VXR models, but with a big estate lump on the back.
98% fear UK road safety not improving

Of the 3,000 drivers surveyed for the quarterly publication, 77% also want theory and practical driving skills to be taught in schools, while 60% are convinced the coming fixed penalty fines for careless driving will do nothing to benefit safety. A relative newcomer to automotive and transport design - this being only the second BA graduate cohort to graduate - the three-year course at Swansea Metropolitan yields a high standard of work, which has received positive industry support in recent years. With projects ranging from the slightly avant-garde to high-quality next generation or niche vehicles, the students were encouraged to select a philosophical direction that they were passionate about yet also suited their desired future career aspirations.
