NOTES: IMPORTANT
Reduces roll/bump steer - essential for lowered cars

PRODUCT BENEFITS
KCA395 is designed to raise the front roll-centre geometry by using specially engineered ball-joints & tie rod ends while still maintaining original steering geometry. Front roll geometry actually encourages roll the lower you go. Testing proves that raising the front roll-centre resulted in a substantial increase to front roll resistance & a significant reduction in suspension compression of the outside front wheel during cornering (less roll). This improves weight distribution & maintains a better camber angle which ultimately improves front grip. The overall outcome is significantly reduced understeer through reduced front wheel compression as well as improved steering precision & vehicle stability.

But the development program is for a global vehicle, so we're likely to see many elements from the Thailand truck show up on the U.S.

Boasting a slight makeover, the 2012 Honda Pilot is ready for showroom floors with a sleeker exterior, an upgraded interior and slightly better fuel efficiency, according to Honda. The Pilot's restyled front end swaps 2011's six-sided grille insert for a horizontal three-bar, chrome-style fascia and new headlights. All trim levels have acoustic windshield glass, which was previously exclusive to the EX-L and Touring models.

Concept Car of the Week: Audi Quattro Spyder

Fri, 23 Nov 2012

The Audi Quattro Spyder. It might not be as avantgarde as some concepts we've explored so far in this weekly series becasue this was a sports car designed with production in mind. It would have marked an entry into a market Audi was yet to explore during a time it was deperate to break free of its dowdy, mainstream image.
