For Sale: Williams "Superrench" model#1194  2-1/4 12 point combination wrench, 28" long.  A good friend of mine gave me this wrench probably 30 yrs ago. I doubt it's ever been used.  I know I have never used it.  I just wire brushed it and took a couple of pictures.  It show some light surface rust, nothing that effects the usefulness of the tool at all.

Williams Satin Chrome Finish Combination Wrench 12 Point, 2-1/4
SUPERCOMBO® open end has specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners. SUPERTORQUE® box opening design allows application of higher torque without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. No contact is made at the corners. Instead, wrenching forces are placed on the flat surfaces behind the points. Meets or exceeds aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners (as defined by AS 870) to provide accurate torque/tension relationship for precision application. May be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches to increase both hand tool flexibility and economy. Box and open end openings are identical

Smart fortwo Edition Limited Three

Mercedes has had stick in the past for playing with its ‘Toy Car’, the Smart. What was a quality maker like Mercedes doing involved with a car the size of the boot on an S Class Mercedes and named after a watch maker (the name stands for Swatch Mercedes Art)? Don’t get me wrong; there was always going to be a market for a car designed to park ‘nose-in’ in busy European streets, but its seemed like Mercedes was stretching itself too thin at a time when it was suffering a big loss in the reputation it had for building high-quality machinery.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 28 January 2008 10:13 Fancy a cut-price Mondeo? Mitsubishi is readying a hatchback version of its Lancer family car for launch later this year – and will drop a few clues with this Prototype-S at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008. Called Lancer Sportback, the production car will be a classic five-door, although you can bank on removing the wilder excesses of the side sills, aggressive snout spoiler and bonnet air vents on bread-and-butter models.

rusEFI: Open-source homebuilt fuel-injection set to rival Megasquirt

Electronic fuel-delivery and ignition controls have given us a new golden age of engine efficiency and performance. Most of us would never go back to the dark ages—say, before 1990—when you could still buy new vehicles with carburetors and clunky distributors. From the point of view of those of us who like to modify our cars, however, the black-box nature of engine-control computers limits our options for making changes to how our fuel-delivery and ignition systems function.
