Two FFs 40 years apart - the Jensen FF & Ferrari FF
Classic Driver has taken the Jensen FF and Ferrari FF to St Moritz to see what forty years of car development means for two 4WD Supercars. St Moritz lies in the Engadine valley in Switzerland and is a winter wonderland playground for the rich, so what better place to take a pair of stunning four-wheel-drive supercars to play than this? Axon Automotive's plug-in hybrid due to market in 2011
We’re used to seeing plug-in hybrids coming at us from major manufacturers as they try to out eco one another. But this time we have a UK made plug-in hybrid from minnow car maker Axon Automotive. Axon Automotive’s plug-in hybrid has been revealed at the Milton Keynes Science Festival and can be used as a pure electric car or with its small petrol or bioethanol engine.

The Toyota Prius 3 and Honda Insight are among seven new cars to achieve five-star safety ratings in the latest Euro NCAP crash tests out today. Dr Michiel van Ratingen, Euro NCAP’s secretary general said: ‘The technology andknow-how is out there for car makers to deliver vehicles with better pedestrianprotection. Honda and Toyota are giving us a glimpse of the cars of the future thatconsider the natural and social environment in its entirety.’
A Toyota official said hybrids posed new problems for its engineers.
