Up for high bid is this nice ORIGINAL Carter W-O 698S carburetor. It will fit all Willys Jeeps with the L-134 four cylinder. It is the replacement carburetor for the WWll 539S but will work on the civilian models as well.  Carb has 407 stamped in the bottom of base and 12 boxed in patient numbers on the bowl as it should. I received the carb as being rebuilt but it did not run correctly. I adjusted the accelerator pump, needle and float to spec and ran on my engine in my shop. It ran fine. Evidently the rebuilder didn't do necassary adjustments when carb was assembled. Everything looked good inside. I ship WORLDWIDE via USPS Priority Mail or Medium Flat Rate Box, which ever is cheaper. I ship in 1 business day as soon as payment clears and I have a confirmed shipping address. I welcome local pick up of parts and I will gladly combine shipping cost for multiple auctions won if possible. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Feel free to ask questions! Bid with confidence, check out my feedbacks and return policy! Thanks SO much for looking! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Volvo consign normal car batteries to the history book

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

Volvo consign normal car batteries to the history book by using body panels for storage As our cars become more and more reliant on power from batteries – either to run the multitude of technology or top provide power for electric motors – the cost and size of the batteries needed continues to grow. But Volvo have been working an an alternative for the last 3.5 years which can potentially do away with the battery and instead store power in body panels. Volvo has built an experimental S80 which has body panels made of carbon fibre and polymer resins and structural super capacitors.

BMW's new i concepts revealed

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

It was meant to be a modest, intimate affair for a select group of media. Yet as we flew to Frankfurt the day before the unveiling of BMW's i3 and i8 concept cars, it became quite clear that this was not to be the case. With hundreds of journalists flown in from all over, a live web broadcast to the rest of the globe, and, for the first time in history, the entire BMW board present in one room, project i is clearly vital to BMW's future product strategy.

Call to pass on petrol price cuts

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

THE AA has joined calls for retailers to pass on a fall in the wholesale price of petrol to motorists. Pump prices have "barely budged" from the late summer high of just over 138p a litre despite a 2p-a-litre fall in the wholesale price of petrol a fortnight ago and a further 3p drop last week, according to the latest AA Fuel Price Report. Petrol averaged 132p at the start of the year, "and this is where it should be heading if the wholesale price collapse persists", the report said.
