Up for high bid is this nice ORIGINAL Carter W-O 698S carburetor. It will fit all Willys Jeeps with the L-134 four cylinder. It is the replacement carburetor for the WWll 539S but will work on the civilian models as well. Carb has 407 stamped in the bottom of base and 12 boxed in patient numbers on the bowl as it should. I received the carb as being rebuilt but it did not run correctly. I adjusted the accelerator pump, needle and float to spec and ran on my engine in my shop. It ran fine. Evidently the rebuilder didn't do necassary adjustments when carb was assembled. Everything looked good inside. I ship WORLDWIDE via USPS Priority Mail or Medium Flat Rate Box, which ever is cheaper. Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 (2010): more details
Wed, 31 Mar 2010Subaru has revealed more details (and more teaser pictures) of its Cosworth-tuned Impreza. Called the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, Subaru promises its four-wheel drive hot hatch will have ‘supercar-humbling pace’ and, presumably, be quick enough to match the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400 too. Near enough – this Cosworth-tweaked Impreza has 400PS.
Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept arrives at Pebble Beach
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Victoer Muller has deliver the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept (pictured) at Pebble Beach You have to admire Victor Muller’s tenacity, and you have to admire the way he’s sketched the B6 Venator out on the back of a fag packet and got the car world salivating over a car that’s really just a set of pretty clothes. Because glorious though the B6 Venator is – and Victor has managed to rub out the roof on the back of his fag packet in a very convincing way to deliver the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept – it must be someone else’s car to start with. There is no way Spyker has the money – despite Victor’s Gold Medal in investment garnering – or has had the time to develop the B6 Ventaor from scratch, so he’s using something else under the very pretty skin he’s created for the Venator.

Nissan’s upmarket Infiniti brand officially launched its European range in Geneva, essentially a slimlined and simplified interpretation of its US model line-up: G37 coupe and saloon, EX37 coupe crossover and an all-new V8 coupe crossover to sit at the top of the range: the FX50. The latter model is essentially a scaled up EX37, though the nose treatment is notably bluffer and, to our eyes, a little too severe.
