Wilwood 120-11130 Black Forged Aluminum Superlite Brake Caliper 1.380" Piston on 2040-parts.com
High Ridge, Missouri, United States
NEW forged aluminum superlite caliper from Wilwood. The part number is 120-11130. These Wilwood Forged Superlite Internal (FSLI)
brake calipers feature internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid
crossover tubes, along with any potential problems that could arise from a
damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed
screw assemblies, which allow this group of symmetrical piston bore models to
be mounted either on the right or left in a leading or trailing position. They
are also stress-flow forged from premium-grade aluminum alloy billets. Stress-flow
forging realigns the metal's internal grain structure to flow within the
contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and
interruptions to the internal grain structure that occur when machining a
straight block billet. The FSLI body design is a highly efficient product of
computer-generated solid modeling and stress analysis technology. This caliper has 3.5" mounting centers.

CAR interviews Patrick le Quément on Renault design (2009)
Wed, 29 Apr 2009By Richard Yarrow Motor Industry 29 April 2009 16:05 Patrick le Quément, 64, has steered Renault through one of its most interesting – some would say controversial – design phases in its history. Born in Marseilles but educated from the age of 12 in the UK, he speaks almost accentless English and agrees to talk to CAR on the eve of his retirement. Le Quément is one of those designers who’s achieved stellar recognition over the past two decades – matching the reputation of Chris Bangle and J Mays as a member of the design A-list, that exclusive club who’ve helped shape the modern motor car as we know it today.

Sun, 15 Jun 2014The most expensive Volvo P1800 in the world. With Volvo now on a sensible track of producing good-looking, premium Swedish cars, we have wondered if historic Volvos will start to climb in value as modern Volvos become more appealing and more upmarket. And it seems they might be.
