Called the Volvo ES Concept, it’s the third and final design study from Volvo’s new chief designer Thomas Ingenlath, who’s been pinched from Volvo rival VW to pen a sharp and sexy new range of Swedish metal to take on the dominant Germans. We’ve seen Ingenlath’s idea of a BMW 4-series-sized coupe, and an XC90-previewing SUV.

They debuted the Infiniti M at Geneva in the Spring, and today we have price and spec details for the Infiniti M37, the first of three Infiniti M models hitting the UK and Europe in the next few months. Sadly, Infiniti has felt it necessary to make the M37 the biggest engine on offer, deciding that fuel thrifty Europe wouldn’t be interested in the big V8, 5.6 litre M56.
Hyundai ix35 FCEV production starts – & previews the ix35 facelift?
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Hyundai has started production of the ix35 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle which perhaps previews the facelift for the ix35. We revealed last year that Hyundai were pushing ahead with their hydrogen fuel cell cars (and eschewing battery EVs in the process) with plans to start rolling the Hyundai ix35 FCEV off the production line by the end of 2012. That plan slipped just a little, but the first ix35 FCEV has now rolled of the production line in Korea (pictured above) as Hyundai work towards full scale production of the ix35 FCEV by 2015.
