Porsche Panamera Diesel- it’s official
Mon, 02 May 2011Porsche Panamera Diesel - a frugal Panamera offering The headline sounds as if there might have been doubts that we would get a Porsche Panamera Diesel before too long. But, despite the general perception that ‘Diesel Porsche’ should be an oxymoron, a Panamera diesel was always going to happen, as Porsche confirmed in November. Fisker Karma drives Laguna Seca
Tue, 18 Aug 2009The Fisker Karma out testing at Laguna Seca But unhappy as we are at Cars UK with the world’s obsession with all things green – and hybrid / electric cars in general – even we have to admit that some of the work that’s going on does impress us. Dany Bahar wants £6.7 million compensation from Lotus
Tue, 28 Aug 2012The Dany Bahar saga at Lotus continues with Bahar claiming £6.7 million compensation for his firing as Lotus CEO. Back in May, ex-Ferrari man Dany Bahar was ousted as CEO of Lotus, confirmed a month later by Lotus parent DBR-Hicom who appointed Aslam Farikullah – an engineer, not a marketing man – to oversee a way forward for Lotus, and just last week Lotus put Bahar’s custom Esprit up for sale. But that appears not to be the end of dealings between DBR-Hicom and Bahar as Bahar has issued proceedings against his former employers seeking compensation of £6.7 million for wrongful dismissal.
