60 Degree Pedal

Remote M/C Mount

Special pedal application for Asphalt Sprint Cars and Modifieds.

Base & Balance Bar only. Does not include pedal assembly.

This lightweight unit is ideal for Dirt Modifieds, Champ Cars, Sprint Cars and Midgets where master cylinders must be mounted in a remote location because of tight space constraints. Usually mounted to the driver’s left side chassis rail, the unit’s balance bar controls two standard mount master cylinders with remote mounted reservoirs. The 60 degree mounting angle allows for tight fit applications and easy accessibility. Strong cast aluminum housing and balance bar weighs only 1.8 pounds. An adjuster knob is included with each assembly.

Jaguar Crossover could be the Q-Type or XQ

Sun, 05 May 2013

The fastest growing segment in the car market is the Crossover / SUV, especially the more compact crossovers. So if Jaguar are going to compete in the big league they’re going to have to tap in to Land Rover’s expertise at some point and come up with their own Crossover (NOT a Jaguar SUV, as Ian Callum made clear). That could perhaps be getting closer with the news that Jaguar has registered both the Q-Type and XQ monikers after Pistonheads played Sherlock and dug the details out from the bowels of the European Union trademark database.

Fiat 500 by Diesel – now it’s the convertible 500C by Diesel

Sat, 10 Apr 2010

The Fiat 500C by Diesel Fiat has been trying hard to churn out as many limited edition versions of the 500 as MINI have managed on their own re-created motoring icon. That’s probably an impossible target (we reckoned that MINI managed a new model a month last year) but that’s not going to stop Fiat having a good old bash at milking the ‘Limited Edition’ market. One of the earliest limited edition specials from the Fiat 500 was the ‘Style’ makeover from designers Diesel.

Wild thing: Audi A1 clubsport quattro unveiled

Tue, 31 May 2011

Audi has created a 496-hp version of the A1 small car to celebrate the 30th anniversary of an Austrian festival for Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen fans. Called the A1 clubsport quattro, the one-off show car gains a heavy dose of rally-inspired styling that is said to preview the appearance of a hot new all-wheel-drive S1 quattro model being developed by Audi as a rival to the likes of the Renault Clio Sport. At the heart of the hatchback is a heavily modified version of Audi's turbocharged 2.5-liter, five-cylinder powerplant shoehorned transversely into the A1's compact engine bay.
