Ford has announced this afternoon that the much awaited Ford Focus RS has now started to roll off the production line at its plant in Saarlouis, Germany. Long awaited, and much anticipated, the Focus RS is going to be available in 20 countries throughout Europe, with its biggest markets being Germany and the UK. Road drainage problems increasing

ROAD DRAINAGE during the mid-summer heatwave was no better than in the early-year floods, according to 40% of drivers. A further 9% said drainage in June was even worse than during the winter downpours, the AA/Populus survey of more than 18,000 AA members showed. Most dissatisfaction with the state of the roads in mid-summer was shown by drivers in Yorkshire and Humberside, with 46% of them reckoning drainage was no better than during the winter.

Bugatti is readying the new Royale to celebrate the company’s centenary this autumn, where it will be shown to prospective customers on the eve of the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. We’ll be the first to admit that the original teaser photo, scanned from a VIP invite by an eagle-eyed CAR reader, doesn’t reveal too much of the new Bugatti Royale – but today a second image popped up on Pistonheads which we've reproduced here, revealing more of the Rapide.
