Features Red Powder-Coating.

  • Fits 0.81" Thick rotors
  • Features Four 1.75" Pistons with Dust Boots
  • Dust-booted aluminum pistons provide maximum protection against track or road born debris in low to intermediate temperature applications that may also operate in harsh environments
  • 5.25" Center-to-Center Bolt Lug Mounting Pattern
  • Commonly used on Open Wheel Sprint Cars, Midgets, Micro-Sprints, Mini-Sprints, Dirt Late Models, Modifieds, Drag Racing, Road Racing, Rally, Street Rods, Street/Strip, Off-Road Racing, and many other motorsports applications, as well as many Industrial uses

The Dynapro Dust-Boot (DP-DB) model of the Dynapro lug mount caliper was developed for applications that require or prefer a dust-booted piston. The pistons are clear anodized to eliminate corrosion while providing added lubricity for drag-free operation within the bores. The dust boots work in conjunction with high-temperature square faced internal seals in the caliper bores to provide optimum performance, ultimate reliability, and quick turn around at pad service intervals

The strength of the DynaPro is a combination of process and design. The DynaPro is stress-flow forged from premium grade billet. Stress-flow forging realigns the grain structure of the metal within the contour of the body design. This process produces a part with the superior strength over parts simply machined from straight grained blocks of billet. The FEA generated body design incorporates a highly fortified radial transition that eliminates steps and shoulders between the piston housings and the bridges. Incorporating a radius in this critical area substantially increases resistance to deflection and caliper body separation under load. Structural deflection and volume displacement testing have proven the efficiency of this innovative design. Reductions in overall deflection, and the subsequent decreases in fluid volume displacement, translate to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel. The bottom line is a firm, responsive pedal with outstanding stopping power.

The DynaPro is loaded with other enhancements for performance and wider application. The calipers feature Quick-E-Clip pad retainers that support a 7812 type brake pad from the top. Not only does it allow for fast pad service without caliper removal, the bottom pad supports have been removed to create a slimmer profile that can be more easily fitted into tight clearance applications.

Heavy wall stainlesss steel pistons are used to resist corrosions and slow the heat transfer from the pads. The heavy wall sectional thickness also provides additional strangth against backside deflection to provide a firm pedal feel and efficient clamping, even at the high pressures generated by power boost systems.

Volkswagen Passat CC at Detroit show 2008

Mon, 14 Jan 2008

By James Foxall First Official Pictures 14 January 2008 03:26 The Volkswagen Passat CC might look like the bastard offspring of a shady encounter between a Phaeton and a CLS, but the German firm is hoping the new Passat spin-off will attract buyers after premium car style for a relatively affordable price. When it hits UK showrooms in late summer 2008, expect the four-seat, four-door CC – it stands for Comfort Coupe – to have a sticker price starting at around £19,000. This will make it less than half the price of its most affordable rival, the Mercedes CLS.

Toyota to unveil 2013 Avalon in New York

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Toyota is set to debut an all-new US-designed sedan at the 2012 New York International Auto Show next month The teaser sketch, which only shows the new car's rear, suggests a departure from the rather bland, conservative design of the current model. The outgoing Avalon very much a traditional three-box design, whereas the teaser image suggests the new model may feature a fastback roofline in the mold of the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS. A 'four-door coupe' if oxymorons are your thing.

Ford B-Max to go in to production

Wed, 27 Jan 2010

Ford are to begin production of the Ford B-Max crossover. The Iosis Concept (pictured) gives us a clue on how it will look. It’s been a while coming, but it looks like Ford’s replacement for the Fusion is now ready to go in to production in Romania as the Ford B-Max, sitting below the newly sorted S-Max and looking to take on the likes of the new Vauxhall Meriva.
