The 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander has been launched in Australia And now the revised Outlander – a slightly toned-down version of the GT Concept – has surfaced in Australia as the 2010 Outlander. Featuring the aforementioned Evo nose and a more Evo-like interior, the style is a move towards a family theme across the range by Mitubishi. The 2010 Outlander will feature Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) – at least on the V6 versions – which improves handling and traction.

2014 Toyota Corolla order guide leaked

The 2014 Toyota Corolla arrives in dealerships later this year, but some bits of information about the big seller have leaked through a Kansas dealer to Car and Driver. The Corolla will stick with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine, but will add Toyota's Valvematic variable valve timing, which may add a few ponies. A four-speed automatic will be standard on base models, while a six-speed manual will also be offered, replacing the old five-speed .

Jaguar Land Rover are to close one of their production facilities in the Midlands JLR unions have already brokered a deal to ensure no job losses in the short term, but JLR are committed to rationalising their manufacturing across just two plants in the UK, instead of the existing three. The decision will be made about which plant to close in the next eighteen months. The most likely scenario is that JLR will close Solihull – which currently produces Land Rovers and employs 5000 people – and concentrate Land Rover production at Halewood.
