Fri, 04 Jul 2014KIMI RAIKKONEN has revealed he will likely quit Formula One again once his current deal with Ferrari expires at the end of 2015. Raikkonen dropped the bombshell at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, and just eight races into his second coming at Ferrari which has so far been a bitter disappointment. Struggling with a car not to his liking, the hotly-anticipated scrap with team-mate Fernando Alonso has failed to materialise as the Spaniard has comfortably out-qualified and out-raced the Finn.
Scandal-laden Jaguar up for auction
Fri, 17 Jan 2014A STUNNING 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupé with connections to one of the most famous British political scandals of all time has been lined up for auction. The car, with the number plate WLY 150, was owned by Dr Stephen Ward, the osteopathic physician who was at the centre of the Profumo Affair in 1963. Ward was the man who introduced John Profumo, Conservative MP and Secretary of State for War, to longstanding friend, model and showgirl Christine Keeler, who at the time was also allegedly in a relationship with Soviet spy Yevgeny Ivanov.
Eagle builds a new E-type speedster
Mon, 27 Jul 2009By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 27 July 2009 17:07 Jaguar E-type specialist Eagle has unveiled the Eagle E-type speedster at the Salon Privé prestige motor show in London. The speedster, commissioned by enthusiast Dr Rick Velaj, uses a standard 1966 E-type as its base. Eagle then rebuilt it to a new sky-high specification, clad it in a one-off aluminium bodyshell, fitted it with its Supersport options (stiffer suspension, uprated brakes and modern tyres) and strapped in its own highly developed 4.7-litre straight six.
