The windows control pad definitely has layers of material missing and sometimes is also sticky.

I sell a simple guide that explain how to clean the windows control pad

I state that it is impossible that it will come back as new, but definitely it will return in acceptable condition.

With this method can clean other parts made with the same material as the inner handle.
No need to buy new control pad or send them to regenerate.
You need only a little bit of your time and patience.
I have tested this method on my 2005 ALFA GT and the photo shows that the panel is in excellent condition.
Obviously deeper scratches will remain but I assure you that the hand control will return to a sane state.
Do not expect a complicated procedure you will have to apply, the job is simple.
The material cost not exceeding 1 € and is home available.
