2010 Interior Motives Design Awards
Mon, 15 Mar 2010The eighth annual Interior Motives Design Awards has opened for registration. Themed ‘Driving the Interior Revolution', this year's contest – hosted by our quarterly interior design publication Interior Motives – challenges design students around the world to come up with innovative designs that offer new solutions to the problems and opportunities facing vehicle designers in the 21st century. Students are tasked with creating a design that fulfills one of the following four briefs, which this year have been set by Volkswagen and Peugeot: Pay as you go (set by Volkswagen) Design a pay-as-you-go vehicle.
Aston Martin confirms limited production of the V12 Zagato

The handmade exotic will have a limited run of 150 examples, with prices from about $527,000, converted from British pounds. Thu, 10 Mar 2011The BMW i8 being filmed for BMW TV Just the other day we brought you the BMW i3 out playing in Scandinavia so, to complete the set, we thought we’d add to that with the BMW i8 doing exactly the same. These photos of the i8 being snapped in the snow are being reported as camouflaged cold-weather testing for BMW’s new “i” range of cars. Which – if you look carefully at the front of the i8 above – would seem unlikely.
