Windshield Repair Training. Spend one day at work with me in the field, usually a friday, watching and learning as i do windshield repair and show you all the steps. Spend a Saturday with me at our shop as you get hands on experience drilling, seting up the injector, cycling, setting up to cure, and the finishing process. Learn to do perfect repairs, as i dont play around! You may have done windshield repair for months or years but just arent getting the repairs to come out perfectly. Make the investment in yourself, it will pay off in the demos that help you pickup a fleet or keep your current accounts happy by saving their windshields. You need to be doing windshields right! Come train with me for two days, go home and practice, and dominate your area. This is college for Windshield Repair Techs. Invest the money to get your repairs right, and you can make a VERY good living in this business doing fleet work. The fact that i have done windshield repair, and nothing else for 15 years does not itself qualify me as a teacher. Many have done repairs for a long time and have not mastered the trade, being used to telling people "well at least it wont spread" when they "cap" it and it doesnt look any better. Get used to getting all the legs and having no more black areas/imperfections in your repairs when you train with a master technician. Rolls and Aston plan new convertibles
Wed, 06 Aug 2014ROLLS-ROYCE and Aston Martin have both announced exciting new convertible models, giving workers at the UK-based car makers a welcome boost to their job security. Aston is set to début a new member of the Vantage family, after shoe-horning a V12 engine into an open-top body to create the V12 Vantage S Roadster. It will make its public entrance at the Pebble Beach Auto Week in California, starting on August 14.
£2,500 price cut for Subaru BRZ
Tue, 29 Apr 2014Subaru has cut the retail price of its sporty BRZ coupe by nearly 10% to £23,995 on-the-road for the SE Lux model. The reduction from the previous £26,495 list price (effective from 1 May 2014) marks a £2,500 saving for customers. The price drop is in part related to the introduction of the firm’s performance flagship model, the WRX STI, which hits UK shores in May 2014.
Caterham R300 Superlight unveiled

Powered by a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec engine, tweaked by Caterham Powertrain to produce 175bhp, the new R300 will sprint to 60mph in 4.5 seconds. The new R300 weighs a mere 515kg, just 15kg more than CAR’s long-term 1.6-litre Superlight. Combined with the new 175bhp engine, the R300 has a power-to-weight ratio of 339bhp-per-tonne – a Porsche 911 Carrera S has a mere 270 by comparison.
