Wacky Racers For French Urban Mobility Project
Mon, 15 Sep 2014TOYOTA’S involvement in a new three-year urban mobility project in Grenoble, France promises to inject a little fun into what can be an otherwise dull undertaking. Toyota is supplying 35 of each type of vehicle and is also contributing its Ha:Mo (harmonious mobility) system to manage the scheme day-to-day, following a model that’s already been successfully piloted in Toyota City in Japan.
GM to sell bifuel Chevrolet and GMC trucks
Wed, 18 Apr 2012While gasoline hovers at about four bucks a gallon, natural gas is priced at the equivalent of $1.89 per gallon. Chevrolet and GMC are hoping to take advantage of that disparity by offering bi-fuel heavy-duty pickups for fleet and retail customers beginning on April 19, the day before Earth Day. The bi-fuel option will cost buyers $11,000, on top of the price of the pickups.
Pioneer App Radio officially unveiled
Fri, 27 May 2011Pioneer has officially unveiled the App Radio that AutoWeek told you about earlier this month. Pioneer said it couldn't speak to the similarity of those systems, but Ted Cardenas, director of marketing for Pioneer's car-electronics division, briefed us on installation of the device and what Pioneer is doing to minimize driver distraction.
