These are brand spanking new custom Wiseco forged pistons for use in any EJ25 block, stock bore. They are specific for building a turbocharged engine utilizing Subaru's SOHC heads. Many(including me) argue that the SOHC heads are better for torque and they are certainly more serviceable in that the valves can be adjusted easily and with the engine in the car. I only build with SOHC heads myself. Currently I run high compression NA engines and have no use for these turbo pistons.

Subaru BRZ: First official BRZ picture

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Subaru BRZ - First Photo Released We’ve had a raft of images of the Toyota FT-86 in the last week or two, but very little on its Subaru sibling – the Subaru BRZ. But now, with the Tokyo Motor Show and the official debut of the BRZ (and the FT-86) looming, we have the first photo of the Subaru offering in the Toybaru project. Developed by Subaru and Toyota – with, it seems, Subaru doing the oily bits and Toyota the styling – the ‘affordable’ sports car from Japan does seem to be a tempting offering.

This latest recall comes from Kia in the UK, which is recalling a total of 5,785 Sportage models and 1.432 Soul models to address a problem that ha been identified with the seat belt pre-tensioner mechanism.

Slots of Fun: Racers gather for a good cause

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

“This wasn't your traditional fundraiser,” said slot-car-enthusiast-turned-fundraiser Bruce Talamon. “This wasn't your traditional, ‘Hey, come drink and sip white wine or do a run or do a bike ride.” It was slot cars, which turned out to be a lot more fun. But it wasn't just a couple guys in a garage with some plastic track and a transformer.
