The tease for something new from Pagani isn’t a Huayra Roadster, it’s a new set of speakers from Italian Sonus Faber. Although the Pagani Huayra is still only on the road in single numbers – two years on from when it arrived – we did think a tease from Pagaini for ‘Something New’ at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show may be the arrival of a Huayra Roadster. But it’s not.

Saab files for reorganization, seeks $1 billion to survive

Saab is seeking $1 billion (793 million euros) to be self-financing, the company said on Friday after it filed for reorganization under a self-managed Swedish court process. The General Motors-owned Swedish brand said it will work "to create an independent business entity" and will concentrate production, design and engineering in Sweden. Saab said it would continue to operate as normal during the reorganization process, with GM and the Swedish government providing some support.

Nissan recalls Pathfinder, Infiniti QX4 for rusted steering column

Nissan is recalling at least 195,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti QX4 SUVs sold in 20 cold-weather states and the District of Columbia to inspect steering columns for rust and corrosion. Nissan is concerned that road salt used in these cold-weather states could cause the steering columns to rust through and possibly break off. In January, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration started investigating 35 reports of corrosion-related failure of the driver's-side front strut tower.
