All new ring land diameters combined with anti-detonation grooves create a turbulent flow of combustible gases sealing tht compression ring to the cylinder wall eliminating ring blowby and maximizing your engine's performance and power.

Hyundai began its SEMA push on Monday with a 1,000-hp Genesis coupe from Bisimoto Engineering. We're not sure how the company managed to squeeze that many ponies out of the Genesis' 3.8-liter V6. We're guessing alchemy has something to do with it.

BMW X3 gets a turbo four-cylinder

BMW is expanding the use of its N20 turbocharged four-cylinder engine by making it the base powerplant for the 2013 X3 SUV. The X3 xDrive28 will use the twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Twin-scroll turbocharging means that the exhaust stream of cylinders one and four follow a separate path to the turbine wheel from cylinders two and three.

It seemed as if they were trying to judge just what flack they would get for considering producing an Aston-ised Toyota Aygo. Would the world throw its hands up in horror, or would they understand the rationale behind the move?
