Mercedes COMAND SatNav gets free Mapping updates Car makers have done pretty well out of SatNav. For a long time it was the ‘Must Have’ extra and car makers charged through the nose for it. They still do.

We’ve also seen the McLarenj P1 on the move in the recent Top Gear with Jeremy scaring himself witless in Belgium as his brain came to terms with the awesome 903bhp at the P1′s disposal on a less than forgiving Spa circuit in damp conditions. 1970 Chevelles fetch top dollar at Barrett-Jackson auction

The muscle-bound favorite of enthusiasts and boulevard cruisers everywhere, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, returned in force at the Barrett-Jackson Orange County Collector Car Auction, June 25-27. The top seller at the event was an SS 454 LS6 convertible, which sold for $253,000. That was closely followed by an SS custom coupe, which went for $250,000.
