Ferrari 575GT Zagato
Wed, 03 May 2006Zagato recently unveiled their bespoke Ferrari 575GTZ at Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in Italy. Zagato, based in nearby Milan, was commissioned by Japanese collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi to create a new body for his 575M in the style of the 250GTZ Berlinetta. Despite the same underpinnings as the 575M the whole car has been remodelled, striking a balance between its Fifties forebear and more contemporary Ferraris.
Braunschweig University Degree Show 2008
Thu, 02 Oct 2008Students from art, communication, industrial and transportation design departments at Germany's Braunschweig University of Art have presented their work in the annual exhibition entitled 'Rundgang'. This year's Transportation Design degree show was divided into two parts. First was the diploma presentation by graduating students Chen Zhong, Falk Bruns, Malte Hammerbeck and Richard Hommel.
Opel design boss dismissed
Mon, 30 Jul 2012Newly appointed Opel design boss Dave Lyon has been dismissed by parent company General Motors, less than a week before he was set to take over the position at the company's troubled European subsidiary in Russelsheim, Germany. Lyon, who was set to receive Opel's design operations from current boss Mark Adams on Aug. 1, was reportedly escorted from GM design headquarters in Michigan late last week under mysterious circumstances.
