This auction is for a New Old Stock Vintage Wix Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement Cartridge , Model CW - 255MP . This filter was widely used on the late 1960's - early 1970's IHC vehicles and stationary machinery equipped with either the DV-462 or DV-550 V8 engine and using the 283 547 C1 fuel canisters . This filter element  is 6 5/8" long , has an outside diameter of 3" and has a 1/2" diameter hole through the middle . There is one good rubber canister gasket seal on the bottom hole and the top hole has a good cork type of seal on it . This filter interchanges with the IHC 283 547 C1 , Napa 3255 as well as others . This filter was used in heavy duty vehicles , farm machinery and construction equipment and by custom builders as well but You have my part number and measurements so do your homework for your proper filter needs and Please use the ebay compatibility as an incomplete possible placement chart Only . This oil filter has been stored high and dry for some time now in its good looking original box and the dent free replacement canister has great markings with good color and no rust or housing discoloration , see pictures . This hard to find original era vintage filter could be proudly displayed in the original box until your daily ran machine needed a filter change and then it would be the proper fitting filter to guarantee the manufacturers performance specifications on the vintage original equipment survivor show stutters .

Now, with the new C-Class Estate due to arrive in the UK in September, Mercedes has revealed prices and specs for the initial launch range. Just three versions will be available at launch – the C 200, C 220 BlueTec and C 250 BlueTec – with the C 220 and C 250 sharing different power versions of Mercedes’ 2.1 litre diesel and the C 200 getting the 2.0 litre petrol.

The competition is open to all design students across all design disciplines and coincides with the launch of Managing Director, Chris Bangle's new book. "I have written a fiction book about Car Design and the prologue takes place 25 years in the future," says Bangle. "It contains some concepts I have been working on, and this contest is to see what YOU would make of them." Bangle's novel explores the state of affairs in the car design field and also expresses his concerns about the culture future generations of designers will inherit.
