Pair of rear 3" lift 'blocks' for a 99-2004 WJ. These are not the cheap poly lift blocks and unlike others, these are a 100% bolt in and they will never move solution. Having worked with lifted Jeeps for a while I came up with this design because there was nothing out there like it. Here are the advantages:

1) It's a lower lift block, not an upper, Chances are your lower spring perch is starting to rust out because the rubber bushing traps moisture. Putting in my lift block allows the lower perch to 'breathe' and it gives you a fighting chance corrosion wont' get too much worse.
2) It's heavy steel. No poly stuff here. I'm a certified welder and know you don't mess with cutting corners on suspension stuff. I have 2 kids and If I don't trust it in my own rig I'm not going to sell it to anyone else. Main block is 3/16" top place is 3/16"
3) It bolts in and doesn't rely on the spring to hold it in place. I've used poly blocks before and if you do any flexing, they like to pop out and do lots of unsafe stuff. Not acceptable. I use steel spacers welded into the inside to make sure it fits snugly around the factory bumpstop. Then I've built in mounts that have 1/8" of clearance once the mount is in place that you can snug up with the fasteners. This means you can torque the heck out of it and it will always be held in place.
4) You save yourself from buying new springs. I'm a working man like everyone else so I have other things that fight for my money like groceries and the electric bill. Use the extra money you save using lift blocks to put towards that tire/rim package you have had your eye on.
5) Heaven forbid you would ever do this, but it makes it easy to remove them and return your vehicle back to stock by removing the blocks.

Check out my other listings. I work exclusively on ZJ's and WJ's. I offer 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7" front and rear blocks along with integrated sway bar, track bar and shock absorber relocation brackets that save you that huge expense of having to buy new shocks and and adjustable track bar for the front. I also offer an upper rear ball joint kit for the rear as well as full long arm kits that I will be listing here shortly.

Every part that I sell I have spent the extra time and made a dedicated jig for. In addition I test fit every part that goes out my garage door on my personal vehicle to double check everything is 100% bolt on.  All of my parts I make by hand one at a time. I take a lot of pride in my parts and have learned over the years that if a job is worth doing, its worth doing right. All of my parts come unpainted. The parts that I run on my personal rig are clear coated because I think it looks awesome and it reminds me of the labor that it took to produce it. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at anytime and I look forward to helping make your WJ the awesome off road beast it was always meant to be.

New Hyundai i30 (2012) revealed ahead of Frankfurt debut

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

2012 Hyundai i30 Revealed A couple of weeks ago we were teased with a sketch of the new Hyundai i30 ahead of a planned debut at Frankfurt 2011. But now Hyundai has decided to throw out a few photos of the new i30, and a bit more detail, to keep interest piqued . Looking, certainly from some angles, like a smaller i40 – which is certainly not a criticism – the 2012 i30 brings Hyundai’s Golf-sized offering very much up to date.

McLaren P1 gets 903bhp

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

McLaren has revealed that their new supercar – the McLaren P1 – will deliver 903bhp and have emissions below 200g/km. The McLaren P1 will get 727bhp from its 3.8 litre V8 with an additional 176bhp coming from an electric motor for a combined power delivery of 903bhp, with the V8 contributing 531lb/ft of torque and the electric motor an instant 192lb/ft for a combined torque of 664lb/ft at 4000rpm. The boost from the electric motor is instantly available at the flick of a button on the steering wheel – McLaren call it Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) – which instantly throws more additional power to aid the McLaren’s V8 than a pair of Fiestas can manage.

Air-powered car edges closer to reality

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

FANCY a car that runs on thin air? We all would, and Peugeot is almost ready to turn it from science-fiction to science-fact. The firm is ready to actually demonstrate its Hybrid Air technology, where a 208 supermini runs partly on petrol and partly on compressed air, resulting in astonishing fuel economy figures topping 140mpg.
