Porsche names new motorsports chief for North America

Jens Walther has been named president and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America, the automaker said Friday. Walther, 41, will take over for Paul Ritchie, who has retired. Walther managed Porsche’s One-Make Cup program before his appointment.

They seemed convinced that a Fiesta ST would be anathema in our seemingly eco-obsessed times, but fortunately they’ve had a change of heart. Now comes the latest in the lineage: the 2011 CTS coupe, which will be joined by a high-powered V-Series model. The first official photos of the car in production trim were released on Monday ahead of its showing at the Los Angeles auto show, and the car is the centerpiece for Cadillac's remade product line.
