Gerry McGovern to head Land Rover Advanced Design
Thu, 29 Apr 2004Gerry McGovern has been named Director, Advanced Design for Land Rover, and will be working alongside Geoff Upex, who continues as Design Director for Land Rover. "Gerry is uniquely suited to this role," said J Mays, Ford Motor Company's group vice president of design. "He's already shown the world that he fully understands Land Rover's DNA, having led the team that designed Freelander.

For the last three years, the Riverside International Automotive Museum has honored those memories with a big reunion of great drivers, race cars and movies. In 2009, the featured hero was Southern California's own Dan Gurney.

Unfortunately, Lamborghini’s silly tease for the Gallardo’s replacement is an irritating and frustrating bit of nonsense. It started well enough with an oddly named website – The Hexagon Project – showing a simple starter button which, when pressed, played the sound of the new Lambo’s V10 roaringĀ - a good start.
