Check out this amazing clock........

Here is an OUTSTANDING working 6 or 12 volt clock for the 1953 Chrysler models.  It is in excellent overall condition.  The chrome bezel, face, hands, lens and set knob are all perfect. Even the rubber boot for the set stem is in great condition!  I believe this clock also fits the 1954 model.  The appearance is slightly different, however.

It was manufactured by the New Haven Clock and Watch Co. for Chrysler.

The clock has been cleaned, adjusted and lubricated and keeps perfect time.

The size of the panel opening would be approx. 3-1/4" high by 3-1/2" wide.

Also, if you need the bulb and socket assemby for backlighting, I can provide one with a bulb for $4.00.  I make these separate from the clock since most people already have them in their car and don't want more laying around.  Let me know immediately after the end of the auction if you want this and please do not pay until I send you a revised invoice.  Also please specify voltage.

You won't find a nicer clock for your vintage Chrysler at any price !

I will try to answer any questions you might have.

I ship worldwide, buyer pays actual USPS shipping cost.  Good luck bidding....

Retracing Steve McQueen's Los Angeles in his Jaguar XKSS

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

In 1958, Steve McQueen bought this Jaguar XKSS from a local TV personality who kept it parked in a studio lot on Sunset Boulevard. McQueen cajoled his wife Nellie into writing a check for $5,000 -- today around $40,000 -- and became the third owner of XKSS chassis No. 713, a car that had originally been imported a year earlier by Jaguar North America.
