Here is a gorgeous working 8-Day clock with a Cortland Swiss movement. It is from the early 20th century. It has 6 Jewels and 2 adjustments. Serial# is 3617375. O.D. is 2-9/16 inches. The face, hands, and knob are in near perfect condition. There is one nick on the inside of the lens. The clock has been cleaned and oiled and keeps perfect time. The company launched its first-gen system four years ago on the C2 and C3, for which it claims fuel savings of up to 27 percent, but it’ll soon be superseded by a new, cheaper system. The second-generation Stop & Start will be launched in 2010 on PSA’s small petrol and – for the first time – diesel models.
'Monster' Tajima breaks his own record at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 27 Jun 2011Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima used the extra pavement to his advantage and smashed his old Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record by more than 10 seconds on June 26, with a finishing time of 9 minutes, 51.278 seconds. Tajima's old record of 10 minutes, 1.408 seconds was set in 2007. Hyundai driver Rhys Millen came in second in the Unlimited class with a time of 10 minutes, 9.24 seconds.
