This is a working AM radio from a 1965 Chevy Truck/ Van.Radio will fit 64 and 66 Chevy or GMC Trucks also.Radio is in very good condition. Has been lubed and tuned. Everything works. Has great sound up and down the dial. Volume control works smoothly. The station window and numbers are in excellent condition. Chrome is in excellent condition. Dimensions are 6 1/4 between shaft centers and overall measures 8 x 5 x 2. Faceplate is 4 1/2 by 1 1/2. Case has no rust. Includes hard to find harness plug. I am a retired Electrical Engineer who enjoys vintage radios.All required repairs have been made. This is a very good looking and playing radio. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy the tunes! Max Wolff to become Design Director at Lincoln
Thu, 02 Dec 2010Ford's luxury nameplate, Lincoln, is set to welcome a new design director, the first dedicated design director for the brand. The role will be filled by former GM designer Max Wolff, who will head the design team in the new year. Until Wolff's appointment, Peter Horbury and Moray Callum, Ford's Executive Director of Design, The Americas, oversaw Lincoln-Mercury designs – the two brands were paired before Ford decided to kill off Mercury earlier this year. While Gerry McGovern headed Lincoln-Mercury design for a brief period before becoming director of Advanced Design at Land Rover in 2004, Lincoln itself has never had a design director dedicated solely to the brand. Wolff brings with him extensive global perspective and luxury design experience; his most recent role was with Cadillac, where he was head of exteriors.

Tue, 02 Mar 2010Mercedes unveiled its first ever diesel hybrid at the 2010 Geneva motor, along with a Bluetec version of its ageing Geländewagen and an SLS AMG supercar decked out in full F1 safety car spec. They’re pretty good. The E300 Bluetec Hybrid features Merc’s 201bhp twin-turbo, 2.1-litre four-pot, with a 15kW electric motor positioned between it and the seven-speed auto ‘box.
