These are German made forged pistons from Wossner,.. Wossner is a very well known name in Europe as a producer of very high quality forged pistons but is just becoming known here in the US.  These Wossner Forged pistons are a great upgrade for any Saab, and are especially nessassary when the engine is tuned to make over 300 HP.  This particular kit fits the B235 T7 engines found in 1999-2009 9.5's and 1999-2003 9.3's.   This kit comes with four Pistons that have a low friction skirt coating, four Ring sets , 4 wrist Pins and 4 sets of wrist pin clips.  90.5  mm Bore Part# K9119D050

Lingenfelter offers look at car collection

Michiganders don't have to wait for the Woodward Dream Cruise to see an epic car collection in their home state. Car collector Ken Lingenfelter, cousin of the renowned NHRA racer John Lingenfelter, is opening his private garage--er, warehouse--to the public this Saturday. For $15, guests can see Ken Lingenfelter's collection of more than 150 vehicles, with proceeds going to the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology.

I will take it to work all week, including Wednesday when I go to Santa Monica to drive a Nissan Leaf electric car. I wonder how they'll take to seeing a competitor in the parking lot. Not far enough to worry about range, though I will look for a charging spot in Santa Monica.

TRW unveils bag in roof airbag system for European customer

TRW Automotive Holding Corp. has developed a roof-mounted airbag that is designed to allow automakers create more space for interior styling compared with typical instrument panel airbags. The “bag in roof” airbag system deploys one airbag from the roof, protecting both driver and passenger, thus eliminating the need for a passenger-side airbag (usually found in the instrument panel).
