BRAND NEW limited production WS9 Outlaw hood (2 inches taller than the WS6 or standard WS9 hood) for the 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, Firehawk The hood features the following;
*LIFETIME WARRANTY- covers any fitment or structural failures.
*ALL components are 100% HAND-LAID, not chopped glass or closed-molded.
*Durable gloss black gelcoat finish aids in easy paint preparation.
*1/4 inch thick drilled/tapped steel inserts.
*New Grade-8 bolts/washers included.
*Utilizes all original factory mounting hardware.
*Fully functional heat extractors plumb heat away from exhaust manifolds/headers.
*Fully functional ram-air ports (compatible with your original airbox OR
a higher-flow WS6 lower airbox along with any aftermarket lids).
*All ports pre-cut and grilled with heavy-gauge aluminum hexagonal pattern grill stock (black powder-coat finish). **(factory original WS6 hood grills can also be purchased from your local dealership parts counter and used with this hood)
*Premium materials used include:
. Owings-Corning chopped-strand mat with carbon fiber reinforcements at all bolt locations.
. Reichold premium resins & marine-grade Cook gelcoats
. Valspar EZ-bond adhesives
