Fri, 08 Mar 2013Ferrari has put a new website up dedicated to LaFerrari with details and specifications and we have new live photos of LaFerrari from Geneva. We’ve already looked at the McLaren P1 from Geneva (it seemed only fair as LaFerrari grabbed the opening headlines at its first reveal), so, as requested by many, we’ve now got a Geneva live look at Ferrari’s new F150/F70/new Enzo – LaFerrari. The first photos we had of LaFerrari were Ferrari’s usual studio shots which told us it was glorious, but glorious on Ferrari’s terms.
Renault buys Caterham out of the joint Alpine sports car venture
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Renault buys Caterham out of the joint Alpine sports car venture It’s more than eighteen months since Renault and Caterham joined forces to create a new breed of sports cars around the Alpine brand. Renault say the arrangement is a mutual one and officially brings to an end the joint venture, and that the business will be renamed Société des Automobiles Alpine this month, although Renault aren’t excluding further ventures with Caterham in the future. The split means that the Alpine project will now be a purely Renault one, and Renault are planning to get their Alpine to market by 2016.
Honda shift cut threat to 340 jobs
Tue, 25 Mar 2014JAPANESE car giant Honda is to cut production at its UK factory from three shifts to two, threatening 340 jobs. Most cars built at the plant in Swindon, Wiltshire, are exported and sales in other countries have not been as strong as in the UK. "Over the last 12 months, we haven't seen the growth we'd anticipated.
