Kia will debut the No3 Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, a small MPV design study that aims to carve a new niche in the small-car market by delivering flexibility in a package that is also great to drive. Designed by Kia's European design team, led by Peter Schreyer, the No3 Concept showcases the Korean automaker's new face with the front grille, headlamps and brand logo in a constellation arrangement. But the most notable of the 4045mm-long concept's design features is its unique extended windscreen and panoramic glass roof with a diagonal supporting bar.

Jaguar hybrid cars due in 2013-14

Jaguar will launch its own hybrid vehicles soon after Land Rover, CAR can confirm. Parent company Jaguar Land Rover is developing battery-assisted hybrid versions for both brands but its strategy puts part-electric Land Rovers first on the launchpad in 2013.Hybrid Jaguars – set to include the XJ and XF, but eventually every model – are therefore likely to be on the market by 2013-2014, using a similar eight-speed ZF hybrid transmission to petrol-electric BMWs.The staggered roll-out of battery Jags and Land Rovers makes sense: heavy 4x4s have come in the firing line from green protestors who label them Chelsea Tractors. Jay Kay's LaFerrari to star at Salon Privé

CAR BUFFS will have a unique chance to get up close to some of the fastest, most exciting cars in the world today when the 2014 Salon Privé show arrives in London next month. Among the star cars at the Syon Park event will be Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay’s spearmint green LaFerrari; the only example anywhere in the world in that colour. All the cars present will be ultra-rare, ultra-exclusive hypercars with sub-three-second 0-62mph sprint times and top speeds well in excess of 200mph.
