Up for sale is a carburetor from a Andover V-32 V twin APU(Auxilliary Power Unit). They were used to power up B29s. May fit other model V twin APUs, please be sure before you buy. No cracks or damage. Has been sitting for decades. Will need rebuild, no cracks or damage. Throttle plate still turns. The plate reads A454. One intake manifold stud missing. The threads it goes into are not stripped. I might have that stud, if I find it before auction ends, I will put it in. What you see in the pictures is what you will receive, no more, no less. Engineering for the new engine is being overseen by Volkswagen's new head of engine development, Fritz Eichler -- who in a previous position led the development of the current generation of Mercedes-Benz AMG powerplants -- continues with a swept volume of 3.0-liters and an unfashionable 15-degree cylinder bank angle. It has been conceived for transverse mounting.
