Datsun GO+ MPV revealed in Jakarta
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Datsun has returned, but not the way we last remember it. Nissan has brought back the Datsun brand for developing markets, and has just revealed the GO+ model, a compact MPV based on the Datsun GO hatchback. The premiere took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, which will be the first market where the GO+ will be offered.
Chevy will use World Series to pitch Volt's debut
Fri, 01 Oct 2010Chevrolet will use next month's World Series to launch ads for the debut of the Volt plug-in hybrid sedan, General Motors Co.'s marketing chief Joel Ewanick said. The ads will be part of a broad campaign that Chevrolet will initiate during Major League Baseball's fall classic and run throughout autumn, said Ewanick, who spoke on the sidelines of the Rainbow PUSH auto summit in Detroit. Ewanick declined to give details of the Volt commercials or the broader Chevrolet campaign.
McLaren P1 Geneva reveal confirmed & first instrument view
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The McLaren P1 supercar has been confirmed for a Geneva Motor Show debut and we get theĀ firstĀ peek at the P1′s ‘Race’ instruments. McLaren are certainly making the most of the reveal of the P1 and are still keeping the exact specifications close to their chest, although we do know that the P1 will get a modified version of the V8 in the 12C with a hybrid KERS type boost offering something north of 900bhp. But McLaren has thrown us a titbit of extra information with the Geneva confirmation in the form of two photos of the digital instruments in the P1 (inset above and in the main photo gallery for the P1).
