The clever XCarLink 2 integrates the Apple iPod complete with the audio system of the vehicle, allowing easy control of the iPod via the car radio / navigation system and steering wheel remote control. The XCarLink 2 is connected to the CD changer connection to the car radio and served as a CD changer via the radio buttons. The individual titles of playlists can be changed with the search buttons (SEEK +/-) on your multifunction steering wheel or radio. With the DISC +/- buttons of the steering wheel remote control switch within the playlists. Each "disc" stands for a playlist, the radio display is to depending playlist EX2, EX3, EX4, EX5 EX6 or displayed.

Once the button is pressed for the CD changer to the radio / navigation system, the music from your iPod or mobile phone (via AUX) can be heard. The new law would mean the registered owner of a vehicle would face a civil penalty even if they were not responsible for the littering. Home Office minister Lord Taylor said it would give councils an extra power to tackle the "scourge" of rubbish lying on the roadside.
