A4 'winner' of most congested road
Tue, 04 Mar 2014TRAFFIC JAMS are getting worse, with London hold-ups increasing despite the congestion charge, according to new figures. UK drivers wasted a total of 30 hours in traffic congestion in 2013 - one hour more than in 2012 - statistics from traffic information company Inrix showed. The London commute zone had the biggest increase in hours wasted, rising from 72 hours in 2012 to 82 hours last year.

After the funked up coolness of the Twingo concept car shown at the Paris Motor Show last year, we are more than a little underwhelmed by the production Twingo. Renault is keen to move away from the utilitarian look and feel of the original model โ it will leave cheap and cheerful sales to the Clio Campus โ and pitch the new model at sharper-suited rivals like the Mini.
Pforzheim University - Honda F1 'off track' project
Fri, 19 Sep 2008Students of the Masters in Transportation Design course at Pforzheim University in Germany have been working on a rather special project: to create designs for โoff-track' cars for Honda's F1 drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, incorporating Honda's environmentally conscious fuel-cell technology. Sponsored by Honda R&D Europe, the project has been running for the last three years. This year the vehicles had to be designed with a theme based on a GP host country of each student's choice.
